Beginning next month, Time Warner Cable, Cox and Cablevision will begin to make NBA TV available to their cable customers. NBA TV – the definitive television destination for everything basketball featuring original programming, four nights a week of live NBA games including high-definition telecasts, Playoff games, WNBA games, exclusive coverage of special events and the most comprehensive highlights and up-to-the-minute information – will be offered to the more than 22 million customers of the three companies.

NBA TV is now available to 45 million U.S. homes and in 30 countries.

“Time Warner Cable, Cox and Cablevision are among the most powerful players in the cable industry and NBA TV’s added cable distribution marks a significant milestone in the development of the network,” said Stern. "Since NBA TV’s launch four years ago, we have been committed to providing television viewers with unparalleled access to our game, and these alliances allow millions of additional fans to enjoy the most comprehensive and authentic coverage of the game they love."

“NBA TV provides Time Warner Cable customers with a new and valuable digital network where pro basketball fans can enjoy live games, behind-the-scenes access and up-to-the-minute basketball information,” said Time Warner Cable Executive Vice President Programming, Fred Dressler. “We continue to deliver on our promise to provide customers with the best choice, value and control over their cable programming.”

“Cox Communications is very pleased to begin this relationship with NBA TV," said Cox Communications' Vice President of Programming, Bob Wilson. "Original and exclusive programming along with comprehensive coverage of all things basketball will make NBA TV a valuable component of our sports and information digital offerings for customers.”

“We are very pleased to have reached this agreement with the NBA, which will immediately add NBA TV to our iO Gold digital cable package,” said Kristin Dolan, Cablevision’s senior vice president of digital product management. “NBA TV will give our customers access to exclusive programming, live game action and valuable in-depth basketball news and information.”
